Dr. Sergey Milutin is a distinguished expert in Russian and international business law, with extensive experience advising and representing businesses, including Fortune 500 and DAX 40 companies, as well as private clients. His practice primarily focuses on business law, encompassing litigation, compliance, white collar defense and investigations. Sergey combines a deep understanding of substantive law with exceptional skills in legal defense, dispute resolution and mediation.

His strong cross-border legal background enables him to provide interdisciplinary solutions with a business-oriented approach. For many years, he practiced law on a senior-position in the Munich office of a leading global international law firm.

As a Russian Advocate, also admitted as a foreign-qualified lawyer by the Munich Bar Association, Sergey has successfully represented European, American, and Russian companies in complex commercial and insolvency litigation before Russian commercial courts and courts of general jurisdiction, as well as supported numerous proceedings in German courts.

As a professional mediator with strong negotiation skills, Sergey assists clients in resolving disputes efficiently and avoiding litigation whenever possible. Recognized by leading legal rankings such as Best Lawyers, he is regarded as one of the top litigators in both Russia and Germany. Speaking five languages and possessing strong intercultural communication skills, he can offer clients reliable cross-boarder legal support, especially in the German-Russian (EU - EAEU) context.  

After his graduation at the Lomonosov Moscow State University with honours he received a master's (LL.M.) and a doctoral degree in law (Dr. jur.) from the University of Regensburg. He also studied German and International Law at the University of Tuebingen. Sergey is also author of over 30 scientific publications on Energy, Business, IT, Banking and Environmental Law and participates regulary in various conferences.
